Well it's too early to tell but this new years resolution thing is going pretty darn good if I do say so myself.
1) Eating good food is definitely going good. I do this every day!
2) Two meals down (hamburgers and spaghetti, I never said it would be fancy)
3) Blogging! It has been one week since I last posted and I told myself that I just had to do it even though I have nothing of any significance to even talk about.
4) I still have plenty of time to draw, don't worry.
5) Since I haven't had a weekend at home since I decided to do 'projects' this doesn't count yet...and since I am leaving in a week, this one will have to wait for a little while.
7) Just waiting for a little inspiration. Wish me luck: I plan on taking some good ones in NY...until then I will just have to wait for the inspiration to strike me.
10) Let's not talk about how 'early' I have been getting up...
That's about all that's even kind of worth mentioning.
I have nothing to write about tonight, even my inspirational time of night isn't helping me much today. So I guess I will get back to my Carrie Underwood marathon and my nightly Chamomile tea, by the way it totally helps with allergies and will dry up congestion at night time. Just thought you may want to know about my mucus, you know, so you could help yours. :)
Sorry about the lame-est post ever, but at least I did one.
Oh wait, let me find a completely unrelated mediocre picture to add a little pizazz...
GIANT POTATOES!!! These are the tubers I pulled up from my Chartreuse potato vines this fall because I decided that for once I would try and save plants over the winter. I was supposed to wrap these in newspaper and store in a cool dry place over winter. Let's just say that they are sitting on my kitchen table not wrapped in my very hot living area. Close enough don't you think? Anyway, the one on the right is like a normal size tuber and the one on the left I am pretty sure has some plant form of elephantitis or something creepy. These vines were both the same size, so not sure what happened here. One was storing for a California winter, the other one was storing for an impending ice age. Regardless, it's pretty cool. Just in case you wanted a closer look, here you go: dirt and all.
SOOOOOOO COOOOOL!!! If you ask me. :) Looks like I found something to write about after all.
Take me away Diamond Rio on into the night.....but not too late because I am supposed to get up early and use my treadmill and eat breakfast and all kinds of cool stuff. Man the days are too short.
I'll vote for the tuber storing for the pending ice age, especially today. brr... ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine what you are planning to do with these tubers. Hopefully not eat them!
